Ingredients
- 2 Tbl butter | 3 Tbl butter | 1Tbl butter
- 2 Tbl flour | 4 Tbl flour | 1Tbl flour
- 1/4 tsp salt | 1/4 tsp salt | 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 C milk | 1 C milk | 1 C milk
Directions
- Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
- Blend in flour and salt.
- Cook together for a min or so.
- Gradually add milk while stirring.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Notes
The measurements are for Medium thickness| Thick | Thin respectively
This white sauce can be used as a base for casseroles and soups. Use your imagination.
