White Sauce

Medium | Thick | Thin

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbl butter | 3 Tbl butter | 1Tbl butter
  • 2 Tbl flour | 4 Tbl flour | 1Tbl flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt | 1/4 tsp salt | 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 C milk | 1 C milk | 1 C milk

Directions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
  2. Blend in flour and salt.
  3. Cook together for a min or so.
  4. Gradually add milk while stirring.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.

Notes

The measurements are for Medium thickness| Thick | Thin respectively

This white sauce can be used as a base for casseroles and soups. Use your imagination.
