Marshmallows

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbl of gelatin
  • 3 C granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Butter (optional)

Directions

  1. Soak gelatin in 9 Tbl of cold water for 20min
  2. Boil sugar in 15 tbl of water until it spins a thread
  3. Pour into gelatine and beat for 5min with an electric beater
  4. Add 1 tsp vanilla and set in a pan lined with butter or powdered sugar
  5. When set, cut and roll in powdered sugar
